New Tours and Activities in 2023

French Wine Adventures are excited to announce our new tours and activities for 2023.

A day of education on the French Wine Regions

French wine can be confusing. Part of the secret to understanding wine is understanding geography and grape varietals. On this course you will discover the major wine regions of France and wine tasting. You will explore the French landscape and taste 10 different wines from across France.

This is a fun day of discovery guaranteed to leave you more confident with a restaurant wine list featuring French wine.

A Relax and Restore Day with Yoga and Wine Mini Retreat

We start with a morning stroll in the vines and an hour of hatha vinyasa yoga in the shade outside (if the weatheris inclement the yoga is inside). From there we move to the delightful tasting room at Chateau Feely – an eco-friendly wood, stone and hemp insulated building made of natural materials for wine tasting with a focus on senses and tasting meditatively. That takes us to a luscious 3 course lunch (please notify us on booking if you are vegetarian or have special food needs) at a delighful restaurant. In the afternoon you explore restorative yoga and meditation. The yoga is suitable for beginners.

To be the first to hear about new experiences or to discover more about wine we invite you to join our mailing list below.

French Wine Adventures bookings are open and COVID-19 protocol

PROTOCOLS due to COVID19 regulations/ Recommendations

We have been working hard to make sure that we can offer a coherent experience that respects the new sanitary regulations at French Wine Adventures and Chateau Feely this season.

French Wine Adventures multi day tours and classes will restart on 27 June for private groups (min 2 people).

From 27 June we will be open for a limited set of day visits at Chateau Feely and subject to these principles:

  • All visits must be booked in advance
  • Maximum 9 visitors at a time / preference for private group bookings
  • Tasting outside when possible, at all times, people that booked together will be seated together and other parties will be seated at separate tables that respect social distancing
  • Hand sanitiser is available and obliged at the entrance to the wine school/ tasting room area
  • Individual spittoons are provided

We ask visitors and clients to please:

  • Respect social distancing of at least 1m
  • Sanitise your hands before entering our premises (we have sanitiser available)
  • Please avoid touching anything unnecessarily
  • Take all the recommended precautions (eg wash your hands regularly, sneeze into your elbow, don’t touch your face) and please don’t visit us if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness

In addition we have limited the type of visits we offer this year in order to be able to better take care of you and us, given the current knowledge, and stage, of coronavirus. The Chateau Feely outside self-guided trail offers a great way to explore the vines on your own. Book a tour and prepacked picnic (or bring your own and buy our wine) to have outside in beautiful Feely vineyard.

Here is the list of the day visits we have available at Chateau Feely this season:
