Caro Feely

Caro Feely is Irish South African and lived on four continents in her work experience before settling in France in 2005 to follow her dream to create an organic vineyard and wine tourism business with partner Sean. They started French Wine Adventures wine school in 2007 in response Chateau Feely guests’ hunger to understand more about the complex world of French wine.

French Wine Adventures’ award winning and successful wine tours and courses have been running for more than a decade. Caro is an agreed WSET* wine educator and a professional with many years of workshop, presentation, training and management experience with multinational companies including IBM and Accenture.

Caro is a winemaker with more than a decade of hands-on experience on the vineyard jointly owned with her husband Sean. She was a member of her appellation management board for almost a decade and thus party to the inner workings of French wine. Caro has a Masters degree in economics and a Bachelor degree with honors in commerce and economics and WSET level 3. French Wine Adventures’ wine tours and courses are professional and passionate.

Caro is a published author and a confident and engaging speaker here for her speaking and writing. She is wine writer for Living magazine and her books Grape Expectations Grape Expectations, Saving our Skins Saving our Skins, Vineyard Confessions Vineyard Confessions, Cultivating Change Cultivating Change and Wine: the Essential Guide to Wine including Tasting, Pairing and more are available on Amazon and other book outlets worldwide.

Sean Feely

Seán is a passionate winegrower and natural winemaker with well over a decade of experience. His practical knowledge complements his formal wine education gained through the Wine and Spirit Education Trust. Seán worked for a decade as a journalist and has experience developing courses and lecturing professionally at masters level. He has a BA (econ) and a CFA.
