What could be better than this? A holiday walking and enjoying great wine and conversation along the way. All the vineyards we visit on our walking holidays are organic or in conversion to organic. I prefer to walk in organic vineyards and I look forward to discussing why with you when you join me on one of our tours!

The Organic Vineyard Walking Tour – 3 nights - €499.00 per person sharing
Walk the vineyards of Saussignac, Bergerac and Bordeaux and enjoy the hearty welcome of the organic winemakers that own them.
Day 1: Arrive late afternoon/ evening to welcome drinks at Château Haut Garrigue then enjoy a delicious meal with your hosts at your Guest House five minutes away. Relax in the pool or hot-tub on the deck.
Day 2: The first leg of the journey takes you on a beautiful ridge above the Dordogne Valley to a wine-tasting and a picnic lunch at a Saussignac winegrower en route. In the afternoon we visit a beautiful organic estate then make for your overnight stay at a charming Chambre d’Hote on a wine estate where we have aperatifs. In the evening you enjoy a well-deserved and delicious dinner at your guest house.
Day 3: On the second leg of the Organic Vineyard Route we visit another excellent organic winemaker which will also be our picnic lunch stop. Then you make your way back to your original guest house stopping at one last wine farm on the way. Enjoy farewell drinks with us and a final evening with dinner at your Guest House.
Day 4: Breakfast at your guest house before leaving to perhaps enjoy a tour of St Émilion (a beautiful medieval village and home to many Bordeaux Grand Crus) just 45 minutes drive from Saussignac. See DAY TOURS for more on the day tour we offer.

2 nights, 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners at a luxury Guest House
1 night, 1 breakfast and 1 dinner at another guest house on a wine estate
Two picnic lunches including wine
Organised tastings at four organic or in-conversion wine estates
What isn’t included:
Your transport to Saussignac (we can organise collection and drop-off at Gardonne or Libourne Station or Bergerac Airport if you are car-free.)
Minimum 2 people. Recommended for late March, April, May, June or early September. Reservation a minimum of 8 weeks before requested dates required.
