We want to share our passion for wine with you!

Five reasons to choose us

Excellence and value for money: we are based in South West France and we are in the winegrowing business so we offer you exceptional quality and great value for money. Having travelled extensively as wine tourists ourselves in France, South Africa, North America and New Zealand, and having done many wine courses we know what works and what doesn't.

Deep wine knowledge and an insider's contacts in the region: We live here and we know these vineyards.

A warm welcome accompanied by enthusiasm and fun all along the way: We, Caroline and Seán Feely, took the plunge to follow our dream of growing and making wine in South West France in 2005. We were welcomed by a group of exceptional winemakers, not only in the wines they make, but also in their hospitality. We soon realised that sharing this idyllic location, the exceptional people that populate it and our passion for wine and wine-making gave us a thrill.

'An insider's experience': We offer you a true 'insider's experience': the winemakers we visit typically work their own vineyards and wineries and know us as friends.

Caro Feely

Caro is an agreed WSET* wine educator and a professional with many years of presentation and training experience with multinational companies including IBM. She is a winemaker with seven years hands-on experience on the organic vineyard jointly owned with her husband Sean and member of her appellation management board thus party to the inner workings of French wine. Caro has a Masters degree in economics and a Bachelor degree with honours in commerce and economics and the Advanced Certificate in Wine from WSET. Her wine tours, courses and presentations have been developed with professionalism and passion. She has extensive practical knowledge and enthusiasm.

*Wine Spirit Education Trust: the most widely recognised wine education institution in the world. Caro is qualified to teach Level 1 Foundation and Level 2 Intermediate.

Sean Feely

Seán is a passionate winegrower and maker. His practical knowledge complements his formal wine education gained through the Wine and Spirit Education Trust. Seán has experience developing courses and lecturing professionally at masters level.

French Wine Adventures HQ is at Chateau Haut Garrigue on the edge of Saussignac village 1 hour 15 minutes east of Bordeaux city and 15 minutes from Bergerac in South West France.
